About Di Dieter

Di Dieter is a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer and former IDC Staff Instructor, with over 41 years of instructional experience. He teaches at several locations including the Flushing YMCA and SUNY Downstate Medical Center. Di also provides individual and group private lessons. In addition, Di has run fun, safe, and successful dive group trips to numerous dive destinations over the past 38 years.
 
Di either is or has been an instructor for the YMCA Scuba Program, also serving as N.Y. YMCA Scuba Commissioner,  and NAUI and CMAS certifying agencies.
 
Additional information/experience.  Operated a dive boat here in N.Y.  Operated a dive business and dive boat in the British Virgin Islands.  Did one of the first programs for the physically challenged, Cerebral Palsy.  Owned and operated a Dive shop in Brooklyn for 11 years.
 
On a regular basis Di conducts Open Water Diver ( entry level ), Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver, and Divemaster Courses.
